It all started at a hotel. John's passion for creating memorable
presentations started when he began his speaking career with Hyatt hotels as
a training manager. Noted for his presentation skills and his unique ability to
conduct highly interactive training programs, John quickly moved on to
become Hyatt's first Regional Training Director. In his later role as the
Corporate Manager of Quality Assurance for Hyatt, John was instrumental in
developing Hyatt's Quality Service Standards and was responsible for
coaching hotel executives nationwide on implementing Hyatt's quality service
initiatives.

A proven track record of success. John built on his early success as a
dynamic corporate training professional to launch Advanced Training
Solutions, a successful training and development firm providing training to a
wide variety of corporate clients. John is also known for his contributions as a
senior training professional in the Pacific Northwest. He previously served as
the Director of Training and Development for Seattle's Best Coffee and is the
former Learning and Performance Manager for Vulcan Inc.

A solid reputation of excellence. Throughout his more than 20 years of
experience as a successful speaker and corporate trainer, John has
developed a solid reputation as a highly credible resource in the areas of
presentation skills, group facilitation, organizational learning and training
development.

In addition to delivering training, conducting workshops and
facilitating large group seminars, John has appeared as a featured
speaker at national and international conferences. He is a Past
President of the Central Florida Chapter of the American Society for Training
and Development (ASTD) and is a recipient of an ASTD Regional Award for
Excellence.
